Holy Thursday this spring

Spring Blessings, well it seems that we skipped winter this year, because of the mild temperatures my garden seemed to benefit greatly. My trees are starting to bud and leave out. My spring flowers are going crazy, tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils are gracing our gardens by the handful. How grateful we are that a new season has started.I hope to plant pink dahlias soon, I still waiting for the trees to fully leaf out , so I can look for the best sunny spot of the property. So stay turned.  Happy Easter to all! When planning your Eureka Springs vacation give the Angel at Rose Hall a call, your Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast and your Eureka Springs Weddings Chapel, the best place for Eureka Springs Lodging and Eureka Springs wedding Chapels.
HOLY THURSDAY is the most complex and profound of all religious observances, saving only the Easter Vigil. It celebrates both the institution by Christ himself of the Eucharist and of the institution of the sacerdotal priesthood (as distinct from the 'priesthood of all believers') for in this, His last supper with the disciples, a celebration of Passover, He is the self-offered Passover Victim, and every ordained priest to this day presents this same sacrifice, by Christ's authority and command, in exactly the same way. The Last Supper was also Christ's farewell to His assembled disciples, some of whom would betray, desert or deny Him before the sun rose again.
