Serotonin levels, your mood and snacks?

Did you know that generally between 2:00 and 3:00pm.is when the level of serotonin drop in your brain? Serotonin is the chemical that is in your brain that regulates and helps your mood. According to Eric Braveman M.D, the author of The Edge Effect, select a snack that contains B6, and B12. generally you can find these in leafy greens and dairy products or select a whole grain, bagel. In addition, Eric Bravemam also wrote Younger You: Unlock the Hidden Power of your Brain and look and feel 15 years younger.  your brain and its chemistry can truly effect future of your well being. We are what we eat! Both book carry the prevention tone. Benefit from listening to your bodies needs.
Not only will the mid day snack boast your serotonin level, but so will a good night sleep. if you feel like a nap and can do so during the day, take a nap, however do not exceed 1 hour. Ok, next tip is avoid the sugar, caffeine, rolla - coaster.  Its best to avoid both if possible.  Exercise is a regulator of mood hormones and serotonin is one of them.
If you are planning a trip to Eureka Springs, we here at the Angel at Rose have a fresh supply of snacks some healthy fresh fruits, and some yummy, but not so healthy, cookies, and brownies.
