Eureka Springs Host Mardi Gras Parade

Time for a party, it has been a bit quite here on the streets of Eureka Springs, and that can mean only one thing, it times a party, Eureka Springs style.  For those visitors how come to Eureka Springs on a regular basis all know that Eureka Springs is a the "Happy Place".  I have never lived any where in the USA, where there were more parades, in fact I wonder how many cities still host parades. How better to start off the New Year, but with a parade.
Joe  David Rice was selected as the new Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Grand Marshal. The 6th Annual  parade is set to roll into town on March 5,2011@2:00pm. The Annual Hookers and Joker Ball is set for March 3 and will ends on Mar. 8  at the " St. ‘Lizbeth’s King Cake Ball and Mardi Gras Dinner" at 6 p.m.
Sine 1987 Joe David Rice served as Arkansas’s Tourism Director  He and his employee have huge job of bringing visitors to Arkansas and to continue to enhance the image of the State of Arkansas.
A native Arkansans, was employed by the Arkansas State Parks system, worked for most of his career trying to make Arkansas parks as well as Arkansas Tourism a better place for visitors.  He has received several awards and accommodations, including one from then Governor Bill Clinton as an "outstanding state employee."  We here in Eureka Springs are so happy to have Mr. Rice as a part of our celebrations details on this year’s Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Extravaganza go online at www.Krazo.Ureeka.org  479-981-9551.The Angel at Rose Hall, your Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast and Eureka Springs Wedding Chapel is just a short trip from the beginning of the parade route.  Spend the weekend with us and walk to the parade. Plan to spend the evening at the Ball and Dinner.  See you there.
