Hobbs State Park Lecture

Saturday December 18, 2010 at Hobb State Park Conservation Area will be host a lecture by veteran Park Ranger. Alan Bland, Master Naturalist of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will speak about William Harvey. William (Hope) “Coin” Harvey for years has blessed our community with many accomplishments at Monte Ne.
Bland explains “If you go to the shores of Beaver Lake today, you would probably think there is not much to see when it comes to Monte Ne. What the water covers is a proud and great history of a very unique man and the place he built over 100 years ago.” Alan Bland's presentation is a continuation of the Friends of Hobbs Speaker Series.
Conservation Area visitor area on Hwy 12 just east of Rogers. The public is invited.
The Hobb State Park Conservation Area is a 20 minute drive from Eureka Springs and the Angel at Rose Hall Bed and Breakfast and Wedding Chapel.
