Christmas in Eureka Springs

So many Christmas events here in Eurkea Springs not enough time for all.

victorian santa clausBella and I walked up to see the Christmas Forest located in the garden area of the Crescent Hotel. There are about 20 to 30 trees decorated by local charities each with Christmas ordaments and bright lights. While walking thru the garden, Bella found a play mate a small chocolate miniature poodle. They play between the trees while his owner and I visited.  The family was from Van Buren ,Arkansas.  Each year they make a visit to Eureka Springs to view the Christmas decorations and to shop.  The Christmas trees are open to the public through Dec. 31 Admission is free.  The Crescent Hotel is just a short walk from the Angel at Rose Hall Bed and Breakfast and wedding chapel. The Eureka Springs vacation destination.

8th annual Christmas Ball was a wonderful event this year.  The Ball is held each year to benefit the Eureka Springs Historical Museum. It was held in the Barefoot Ball room, a top the 1905 Basin Park Hotel. Music  was provide by Jack Mitchell Combo. Both Live and Silent Auctions stook place to help raise money for the Museum.  The Museum plans to renovate the first floor of their building and to update some of their exhibits.
