First Monutain View , Arkansas is a small town just East of Eureka Springs.  Located between Bull Shoals Lake and Norfork Lake. The Center is both a lodging and conference center. Created to celebrate the Ozark way of life.

The center is lively, it’s entertaining, and it makes learning about Ozark history and heritage loads of fun. It’s an adventure in yesterday's living in the Ozarks.  Interactive so that you can see, touch and enjoy today.”
The center offers workshops in pioneer crafts, herb gardening and traditional American folk music, as well as special folk arts & crafts programs for children and seniors.
The Skillet Restaurant is one of the finest country cooking restaurants in the Ozark Mountains, featuring recipes made with the organic herbs grown in our Gardens.

According to the Center their Mission at the Ozark Folk Center is "dedicated to providing living history and exists to preserve, document, display and interpret the cultural and social history of the Ozark region, an area that takes up part of five states: Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma".
