Eureka Springs Christmas 2010

Christmas DecorationsSome of this year’s holiday season activities slated for this National Register of Historic Places community include many not to miss activies.

Thursday, December 2
44th Annual Silver Tea.
Coffee, tea and light snacks served from the finest silver.  The event helps a local charity.  If you attend it begins at 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.,in Crystal Dining Room of the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa.

Annual Christmas Parade
Eureka Springs’ only nighttime parade with floats bands and spectacular lights winding through the
streets of Historic Downtown.  I just love this parade, the local and vistor line up along Spring Street to get a glimce of mnay colorful float and of course Santa Claus.  Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce.
6 p.m., Downtown Eurkea Springs
Living Windows
Area residents dressed in period costumes become “living mannequins” throughout the Historic Downtown area.

Tour some of Eureka Springs’ finest preserved homes decorated for the season.  I attend this every year.  Tour the magical beautiful homes of Historic Eureka Springs.  Each dressed up like a present awaiting your visit.  The weather is to be nice, so plan on attending.
3 p.m. – 8 p.m., admission for advance tickets is $15, day of tour $20.

Sit On Santa’s Lap
A chance for children of all ages to sit on Ol’ Saint Nick’s lap and have a photo made.
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Basin Spring Park.

 Oh, course all of the above activites are with in walking distance of the Angel at Rose Hall
