The month of October is full of art in Eureka Springs! All of our galleries will be featuring unique and beautiful artists on the 23rd. This is the lineup of special shows for this weekend:
Eureka Thyme will host Pete Rundquist of Bella Vista. Pete is known as Man O Wire. His wire creations are unique, interesting, surprising! Meet him from 1 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 9 p.m.
Delicate, fanciful whimsy will again be on display as Iris at the Basin Park hosts California artist, Karen Bagnard. Well-known for her delicate mermaids and faeries, Karen paints with watercolors and colored inks. Take this opportunity to meet Karen and have her personalize one of her cards or prints on Saturday, October 23rd from 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM.
83 Spring Gallery: Saturday, October 23rd, 10am-5pm We welcome back Mark and Eli Hopkins! This event will have a fishing theme and Mark will be debuting a new piece to add to his ever popular fly fishing series.
Also for the fishing enthusiast Mark will be bringing some original sculptures that feature fish. This collection features rainbow, brown, and golden trout just to name a few. These one-of-a-kind pieces make great complements to Mark’s fishing sculptures or they look wonderful all on their own.
In addition to this new fishing sculpture we will be unveiling Mark’s new sculpture called Touched. Touched depicts the story found in Matthew 9: 21-23 of Christ and the woman who was healed by touching the hem of his garment.
