War Eagle Mill Craft is set for October 14 thru 17


Each spring and fall the Ozark hills come alive with the sights, sounds and aroma of the War Eagle Mill Craft Fairs in May and October. This is the granddaddy of all Arkansas craft fairs, so mark your calendars and gear up for a day at the fair.

SPRING War Eagle Mill Crafts and Culinary Arts Show
Join us May 7, 8 and 9th for the Spring Craft and Culinary Fair! Our 2010 Spring Fair will showcase many new vendors as well as your old-favorites.
New this year, our Spring Fair will be featuring the culinary arts! In addition to your favorite artisan and craft wares, come enjoy fabulous food booths, scrumptious samples and creative cooking demos all around the Mill--including baking and pasta making!
We will be debuting our new "Water Wheel" pasta made by World Garden of Bentonville. We will also be unveiling our new "Water Wheel Pasta Salad" at The Bean Palace Restaurant. Come with mom and enjoy "Mother's Day Breakfast Out of Bed" when we sample all of our amazing pancake mixes!Inside at the Mill we will have lots of new handcrafted jewelry & pottery in our second floor gift shop, and a new selection of sugar free syrups on the first floor.
Of course it would not be a Fair without music! The band Spring Street will be returning this year on Friday and Saturday to entertain the crowd. Bring out the whole family for some good old fashioned fun at War Eagle Mill!
FALL War Eagle Mill Arts and Crafts Show - Oct. 14-17
Professional craft men and women offer original, handmade work such as country decorative items, folk art, watercolor and oil painting, pottery, stoneware, wreaths, potpourris, dried arrangements, quilts, miniatures, country clothing, wearable art, candles, homemade soaps, country furnishings, antique broken china jewelry, white oak baskets, bird houses and feeders, collector Santas and much more.
These juried participants come from across the United States and look forward to meeting you. The War Eagle Show is said to be the heart of the country look beginning before country became fashionable.

During the Fair, there's Always Plenty to Eat at The Bean Palace Restaurant
The War Eagle Bean Palace Restaurant on the third floor of the Mill opens for a full country breakfast featuring War Eagle biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage and giant cinnamon rolls at the Fair.
The lunch specialty is War Eagle beans and cornbread with the cornmeal being ground on a 150-year old stone buhr mill on the first floor of the mill.
Food concessionaires in the mill yard include an array of snack foods to full diners and take home featuring: Beef Wellington, spinach and broccoli puffs, Cowboy Barbecue Ribs, chicken sandwiches, corn dogs, Mediterranean pita sandwiches stuffed with marinated chicken, fresh sautéed veggies and wine sauce, curly fries, flaky pastry apple, cheese and cherry strudel, ice cream, strawberry crepes, homemade peanut brittle, fudge, candies and fresh squeezed lemonade. Hot peanuts and almonds are roasted in antique roasters and served with ice cold sarsaparilla.
