Eureka Springs day trip

If you had one day to spend in Eureka Springs you might want to consider the following: Explore the Eureka Springs Historical Downtown District. Walk up and down Spring St. to view the town's many art galleries, antiques shops, Victorian hotels and homes. The shops in the down town area are clearly worthy a multiple days shopping trip however if you have just one day.  Go for it. Shop like you are on a mission.

Eureka Springs streets have been featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not!If you're religious, you may also enjoy visiting Eureka Springs' Christian attractions such as the Great Passion Play, the Sacred Arts Center and Christ of the Ozarks. Even if you're not religious, be sure to check out the beautiful Thorncrown Chapel and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Take a ride on the historic Eureka Springs and North Arkansas Railway, especially if you have kids. There are both dinner train and excursion train trips available. If you don't want to pay the dinner train prices, you may take a homemade meal on the excursion train.
