Flat Iron Building is the third to occupy this prominent address in downtown Eureka Springs. The first two were consumed by fire during the Victorian age. Apparently the bad luck attending earlier constructions dissuaded a third try until the 1980s. Probably the most photographed building in town and by far the most memorable, this handsome but short hotel is easily recognized as a neat copy of its namesake in Manhattan.
